John Espenmiller has been a Registered Representative holding Series 6 and 63 licenses since 1985 with experience in life insurance and investment planning. He is a 1971 graduate of Iowa State University. He has been serving his customer/client investment and life insurance needs in Logan, Iowa and the surrounding Harrison County area for over 42 years.
John came to Logan in 1972 joining his father in-law and brother in-law at Harrison Mutual Insurance Association and Strong Insurance Agency, Inc. In 1975 he branched out and began his life insurance and investment career as a broker with Bankers Life Company (now Principal Financial Group) of Des Moines. A great many of John's customer/clients have been relying on his advice and counsel for nearly 40 years. John prides himself in endeavoring to make investment products/services and life insurance easy to understand and by keeping things basic and simple.
Since 1972 John has served his community by coaching little kid baseball and basketball for many years, as a board member of the Logan-Magnolia Community Schools (10 years), President of the Logan-Magnolia Schools Athletic Booster Club (18 years), board member of the Harrison County Conservation Board (22 years), a long serving member of the Logan Community Betterment and Improvement Committee and has been a past member of the finance committee for St. Anne's Church and a current board member of the Logan Public Library. John also serves as a Director for Community Bank in Dunlap, Iowa.
John and his spouse of 46 years, Mary Lynn, have 4 grown children and 15 grandchildren.
