Eric Jones

Eric Jones is co-founder of Vista Wealth Group. He is a financial advisor with a background and experience in financial planning, business management, and entrepreneurship. Jones has been in the financial services industry since 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Music Business Comprehensive and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University - Metropolitan College. 

Eric believes in building strong, trusting relationships with his clients, getting to know what matters most to them. With years of experience, he has come to realize that true retirement planning goes beyond financial strategies - it’s also about helping clients find purpose and fulfillment on their retirement journey.

Jones grew up in a rural community in northeast Nebraska. That experience has instilled an appreciation for agriculture, entrepreneurship, and outdoor activity. When he’s not working with clients to achieve their financial goals, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter traveling and playing sports. He is a recreational golfer, kayaker, and bass fisherman.

Eric is an active member of the community serving on various boards and committees. His involvement with the chamber of commerce, St. Luke Church, and the American Legion have helped him understand the local community and provide an outlet for service.
